Welcome to The Meltaway Bakery in Saugerties, NY! As the former owner of Lachmann’s bakery, Drew has brought those original recipes to our little shop. The Meltaways (cups and coffee cakes), Almond, Nut twist, Apple Edelweiss coffee cakes and don’t forget that amazing crumb cake bring back those childhood memories. The eclairs, butter buns, black and white cookies and so many more original delicious goodies are made at our bakery. We have the rights to all of the original recipes that we mix with Drew’s talent, hard work, many years of experience & amazing dedication to a quality product that we are proud to say is the real deal.
We’ve been so happy to carry on the Lachmann’s tradition and are blessed to have so many amazing customers that have turned into friends. It’s not everyday that you get to establish such a precious relationship with people. We are working hard on our move and so excited to open in our new space as well as offering an expanded product line. We are so excited about our Grand Opening in our new location. We are looking forward to serving all of our loyal customers and making new friends….
